Opposition MPs used the last week of question period before Parliament rises for the winter break to demand answers from the government about how their actions affect farmers and families.
On Dec. 8, Conservative Agriculture Critic John Barlow told the House about increased food bank use in his community and asked the government why it continues to make food more expensive.
